Navigating between different parts of a drawing can be a manual process, but views can be setup to expedite the process. We can turn certain layers off when using a view, allowing us to see specific disciplines without too much “noise” from other irrelevant disciplines.

Our views can be created in layout and model space. We can place certain colors and backgrounds behind our views, and they can help us work faster by becoming a central hub of locations via the View Manager. We can even create cinematic and “recorded walk” views.

This video explains how views and the view manager work in layout and model space within AutoCAD. For more information, please contact us at info@ddscad.com
