This is the second part of our three-part series that explains how to use the Fillet, Chamfer, and Blend Curves tools in AutoCAD. This section focusses on the Chamfer function.

The Chamfer command has options and settings that are similar to the Fillet tool. It allows us to specify two distances from the possible intersection of two lines in order to draw the shortest distance to each line with those specified distances. We can also specify a distance and angle to create a Chamfer.

By using two variables, the Chamfer tool will assist us when joining lines with specific parameters. For more information, please contact us at info@ddscad.com
